Cubing Armenia exists to build a self-sustaining puzzle-solving community — through free community practice, WCA-sanctioned competitions, coaching, and a fair, transparent organization behind it all.
Our goal is simple: more people solving, more official competitions, more chances to compete close to home — all run fairly, openly, and for the benefit of the community rather than any one person.
We believe speedcubing has real value beyond the puzzle itself — it builds focus, problem-solving, and confidence, especially in young people. That's why our weekly meetups are free, and why we're building this as a non-profit rather than a private club.
Cubing Armenia is led by Mayis Jraghatspanyan, WCA Junior Delegate for Armenia, who has represented the country within the World Cube Association while organizing and supporting competitions nationwide.
What started as informal weekend meetups has grown into a recognizable community — and the next step is making that official: a properly registered non-profit that can run competitions, coaching, and outreach transparently, and outlast any one organizer.
We believe a non-profit should be easy to check up on. This section will hold our founding documents and registration status as each step is completed — nothing hidden, nothing assumed.
Right now, Cubing Armenia is run by one very busy volunteer — but every WCA regional organization started that way. We're actively recruiting for the roles below.
This site's structure — across every page — was shaped by looking at how other WCA-recognized organizations present themselves. Their content belongs to them; we simply learned from how they're organized.
